Wow, we have had a very eventful summer! We really enjoyed our new events this year, such as our Jimmy Buffett Party. We hope to continue with our monthly event theme throughout the year!

We had our first annual River Float in August and will continue this event annually. We had a great time and hope to have more participation next year! Our floaters really enjoyed the trolley ride back to the campground. Next year we will add to this event by having a BBQ for everyone when they return!

We have monthly events scheduled for the remainder of the year!

October 3, 2009 - Mardi Gras - decorate your golf cart, wear your favorite mardi gras costume and join the parade. There will be a contest for the best decorated golf cart and best costume. Then join us on the dance floor with our very own "Bad Dancers Band".

Check our monthly newsletter for further events coming up soon!!!

Oh I almost forgot - We will have our "Beer Garden" ready soon. Come and check us out!!!

What a great winter we Had this year. So many returning faces and lots of new ones as well.

Our enlarged staff is in place and ready to help any way they can. So come on into the store and introduce yourself. Jackie and Chris are running the place now and always there to help. Steve is in charge of the outside and along with Mike, Paul and Sandy the grounds have never looked better.

If you checked out our Pictures you will see that our Country fest was a great hit and we plan to offer events and entertainment throughout the year. We are open to your input on events you would enjoy so let us know.

The weather is warming up nicely. We are now into the 80 degree range and the nights are cool. Spring has sprung along the river so come on out and enjoy yourself!!

Hi Everyone!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

If you missed last month's TAG-A-LONG to the Cibola National Wildlife Refuge, you missed a great time! We had a turnout of about 25 people. We all jumped into vehicles and headed for the refuge. We were met by Rose Stoppels our guide, and the friendly staff at the Wildlife Headquarters, where Rose gave an interesting presentation about the refuge and we got to pick up pelts and skulls of coyotes, raccoons, skunks, beaver, muskrat, and more. Then we headed outside on a short hike to the bird viewing stand. All along the way we head the very loud and noisy Sandhill Cranes, but when we got to the stand we finally got to see them. They are HUGE. Rose said the majority of birds arrive in mid December, so if you are looking for a fun day trip - check it out.

*SEE pictures of the tag-a-long on our photos page.

Now all too soon it is time to start thinking of Christmas.

Since this is a busy month for everyone, we thought we'd only work on one activity this month and that is a

Holiday Outdoor Home Decorating Contest!
